Cary Area EMS is currently accepting full time applications for certified Paramedics, EMT-Is, or EMTs. We are looking for highly motivated and aggressive candidates who have a desire to work in a progressive EMS system. Cary Area EMS is part of the Wake County EMS system which uses very aggressive protocols and state of the art equipment. We work 24 hour shifts with a combination of full time and casual time employees and volunteers. Cary Area EMS currently responds to over 7,800 emergency dispatches with 3 ALS ambulances. Candidates must hold a current NC driver license or obtain one within 90 days of employment. The candidate must obtain a North Carolina EMS credential prior to start of employment. Paramedics should have ACLS, BCLS, BTLS/PHTLS and PALS. Any employment offers will be pending drug screening and a criminal background check.
